📊 Why this exists
Since 2017, UK employers with 250+ staff have been required to publish annual gender pay gap figures - covering hourly pay gaps, bonus gaps, and the proportion of men and women in each pay quartile.
The problem? The government's official service splits the data by reporting year. If you want to see whether a company is actually closing its gap or just treading water, you're left downloading spreadsheets and stitching them together yourself.
Mind the Gap fixes that. Every submission is linked by employer, so you can search for any company and instantly see its full history - trends, quartile shifts, and all.
The site is completely free to use. This data is public for a reason, and we think it should be easy for anyone - employees, jobseekers, journalists, researchers - to explore it without wrestling with spreadsheets.
All data is sourced from the UK Government Gender Pay Gap Service.
